holds the distinction of being the world’s first single-barrel Canadian whisky. it is made from the finest sampling of our master collection of 200,000 barrels of whisky, designed to reinvent the Canadian whisky category. Caribou Crossing Single Barrel Canadian Whisky is a Canadian Whisky that was distilled and matured in the province of Alberta before being hand-selected by Mayville himself. It is then shipped down to the US and bottled at the Buffalo Trace Distillery and released twice a year, in the spring and later in the fall. Composed of an undisclosed mash bill, Caribou Crossing Single Barrel is NAS Canadian whisky matured for a minimum of 3+ years in single casks (estimated to be ex-bourbon) and is finished to 40% ABV. The nose opens with a slightly fruity aroma, along with notes of citrus, vanilla, caramel, and honey.
